Thanks for visiting my website. Here you will find some personal background and details of my experience in theatre, short films, TV commercials and voice-overs.

For the past few years I've worked as a character actor, particularly specialising in musical theatre. My experience now spans some 50 years, having been bitten by the acting bug in my early schooldays in the UK. Afterwards, I undertook musical and drama productions with a number of community theatre groups in London and South Coast area, and various Shakespearian and contemporary comedy roles with East Sussex Drama Group prior to emigrating to Australia in 1976.

As well as leading the country-rock band Magnum during the late 1980s, I joined the Queensland State & Municipal Choir (now the Queensland Choir) to broaden my musical horizons, taking part in a wide range of concerts over a period of about eight years.

In 1999 my passion for musical theatre was rekindled when Brisbane producer/director Algernon Rowe invited me to play the lead role of Harold Longley in the Show-Briz Theatre Company's nostalgic WW2 musical comedy "Bless 'Em All". Since then I have appeared regularly in musical theatre, drama, dinner theatre and pantomime in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, as well as in short films, tv commercials and a couple of features.

I'm a perfectionist (can't help it - I'm a Virgo), with a passion for performance, so am always looking for opportunities for extending my repertoire and pushing my boundaries.

Coming Up: April-May 2010 - Henry Benish in "Play On", for The Spotlight Theatrical Company
